Is his stick or auto, if he's 5spd, I would say he'll win casue all your mods don't add up to .7L extra, but if hes automatic, I think you should beat him if you know how to shift.

That Formula likely has your number. I wouldn't expect to win.

My money is on you,a 305 5 speed car i believe is 30hp less then the 350s so with your mods that hp loss is balanced out and plus you have a stick, which might be helpful if you know how to use it,it will be close although, good luck.

I don't see those mods making 30 hp.

The Formula is lighter, has more horsepower and lots more torque. I don't think that having a 5 speed can make up for that. I'll put my money on the Formula.

I think it might be close but I am pretty sure he will win he is going to have more torque. What are the axle ratios and where are you guys running: track,light-to-light or highway.

I think he'll put you away fairly easily. That Formula is lighter and has more power/torque than your GTA. If he can get traction, its all over, otherwise he'll may just sit there and spin. Can the kid drive?

If you have the TPI 5 speed you have:
220 HP
290 lbs/tq
If he has the 350 TPI auto (only came w/auto)
230 HP
330 lbs/tq
If you have the 305 TBI, dont even bother fuc*in with him!
But with your mods youll take him pretty good If you can shift really fast and really keep it in the upper rpms. Make sure not to spin them too bad on the take off... I know how the 5 spds are... I got one (305TPI 5 speed)

ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE G92 PACKAGE DO YOU HAVE THOSE FIGURES. But seeing as you do, as long as he doesn't also have G92 package which packs 3.23's and a nice mid 14 second to low 14 second punch, than my money is on you. Don't rev the car past 2 grand off the line and make sure you shift before she starts wheezing. If he has G92, then its gonna be a hella of a race. My friend has a G92 Formula 350 and he got me off the line because i was yelling at a friend in the back seat and the only times i caught up with him was when i shifted, other than that we were completely frozen.

I'm about positive that ALL L98 formulas have 3.27, whether G92 or not. I used to have an 87 IROC 5sp/G92 also. I'd have to go with the formula on this one.
