Tell me how to shift to get good quarter times on a 700r4!!!!!!
MIne is a 1986 IROC with lb9305tpi and 700r4,with 2:73 posi rear,how should I race this??floor it from a dead stop or shift it??and at what rpms do i shift????

flooring it from a dead stop is called"BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNOut!!!!Wheelhop!wheelhop!wheelhop!!!!i would ease in to the gas(not like my grandma)but you know what i mean,as far as shifting goes I really can't tell you anything about that.I would find a long DESERTED road and see what works good for you and your car.Just my 2 cents,
I would put it into 2 at the line slowy hitting the gas, while your foot is on the other break, before they start to turn put it down hard then mash it get it up to about 4300 or so then shift into D be sure not to go into OD then just keep your foot slammed to the floor....then laugh at the mustang as he pulls up behind you after the race. No dont laugh at him, you might hurt his feelings even if he talks severs **** about you and your thirdgen.
