That website was pretty cool, but a VR6, how ironic is that cartoon. It's a VW, I think they would both sound like that honda, thats if the VW would even start.

While I enjoyed the site and great SFX, I would disagree with Cruz'N Bruz'R... First off (here we go) the VW is German and the term Sauerkraut is much more fitting. Second of all, the VR6 is a very solid platform and the 12.4 that this one gets is tame compared to it's potential. Third, German cars are just about the finest cars on the road, they in fact used to produce engines that were machined so well they did not require piston rings... although more modern machining techniques don't make this economical they still produce the finest engines on the road. Chevys I admit are fine automobiles, but you need to put effort into maintaining them... VW's just don't die... I won't even touch the Honda/Toyota reliabilities... that could fill pages.

front end work seemed the most common for those vehicles.
oil burning honda civics and accords are just as common as any domestic car around in this area.

your arguement is appreciated, and most will agree that 90% of european cars are great cars. I would just like to point out, that honda's legendary reliability IMO is nothing more than a myth. I've worked at an auto repair shop and one thing i noticed was that there were quite a few hondas and nissans coming in for repairs. more than i thought there should be since these things are supposed to be so reliable.

Exactly what I've been seeing at the shop I've been at the past few months. Got one Nissan there now that ran perfect until it ran out of gas. Now even with fuel pressure and a signal going to the injectors, it still wont run lol. Yet it runs on starter fluid just fine when sprayed into the intake.

So the European cars are clean? You didn't mention that... Anyhow, I think poeple are buying hondas and the such expecting the cars to take care of themselves... I know how you can damage an engine, my first car was abused by my mom quite a bit and it was a honda @ 198k... I owned that car for 15000 miles 'til I sold it for $300 not bad considering it was getting 17 MPG, was running on 3 cylinders and drank 1 quart of oil every 60 Miles... LOL anyhow, I go on the belief that it's mostly in the owner and how you care for a car...
