What would you do: Give him a smile, drop down a gear and blow the doors off him, or sit back and know that Japanese piece of **** ain't worth wastin your gas on.

How about those ricers that are just lookin' to **** you off just to impress thier friends? I was at a light last night and there's this Honda Accord (mid 80's) behind me... the light turns green and I accelerate at a reasonable pace, this moron floors it and almost rear-ends me... he follows for a short distance and since we both attend the same university, he jerks into the exit lane as I'm pulling into the same lane (I actually used turn signal) He floors it while I'm half way into the lane and so I follow suit, totally leaving him behind as expected... Isn't this a little dangerous? I had little other option than to do the same with all the other traffic around... WTF is going through these dip****s minds?

Edit: What you described doesn't happen that often to me, but I would assume they're just cruzin' lazily just looking for someone to race if the opportunity arises... Well thats the only reason I'd drive so damned slow... but I usually exceed the speed limit so I can't really explain it...

I'd smoke him bad. It really makes my day complete to know that I've beaten the crap out of some ***** pos that thinks his car is so fast because of the coffeecan and stickers and the japanese lettering all over it. Even though he's got 4 less cylinders and 100 less horsepower, it's still satisfying....

 

I dont ever race ricers. I will run side by side with them and maybe give it a little throttle before 2nd and bark em just to let them knows whos boss. I dont like to waste my gas.

I sure am glad I'm not the only bully here! Before I got my 3" cowl hood, stripes and hi rise spoiler, I wouldn't even be looked at to race...EVER. So, if no one would race for a while, and I saw a vtec honda at a light, I'd line up at the light, and when it turns green, give him a good dose of what IROC taillights look like from 12 seconds away.

 

I was on my way up to college in the mountains, and this was when I had 2:73s gears and minus the 3" exhaust. Well I was doing about 85-90 up a steep part and flew by this Eagle Talon (had fart tip and interior neon lights.) I wasn't trying to prove anything to him, he was going like 65, I was just in a hurry. Well not long after I see him speed up and pass me. I was like ok, like I wouldn't try and race going up a mountain against a Talon. So he slows down next to me and speeds up slows down. So I just downshift and floor it and pull away, eventually I slow down and he catches. And then he finally gets behind me on my tail like way too fu(kin close. So what I always do in that situation is press my brakes enough so the lights come on but the brakes don't. I guess he finally got the picture that I was in no mood to have him on my a$$ and I just let him pass me.
