Who said the English had no *****?

Today I got the most rediculous challenge ever. Some Englishman in a Mini Cooper "Mr. Bean Edition" complete with Yellow English plates wanted to race. He revved that lil sucker, so I was like hell with it. I put it in second and didnt shift. I just went to 50, didnt bother to look back, and slowed down due to the fear of po-po.

*****, YES. Brains, Not exactly. I heard of drive with your heart but DAMN!, its Camaro vs Mini Cooper.

Yeah, I know about the Minis. They are on Gran Turismo for PS2 because they are road racers. But they are slow as hell. The top speed I hit on the game with one was 84. Needless to say I will never use that car again.

A guy down my street has one. I talked to him about it. It has a 1.2L 4 cyl, but what I like are the 12" wheels. Can you say "Death trap"?

The new Mini Coop coming out looks to be pretty cool. It's something like 1800lbs and 170hp. Is that the one you guys are talking about?

I owned one when I lived in Englad a few years back. It wasn't very fast, but I never had to lift in turns. I am sure it would corner faster than my IROC (if I can get it up to that speed).

I like Mini's. The original, not the new one.

lol when I lived in Malaysia, there were Mini's everywhere.. Our street was like 1.2 lanes... and we had a Mitsubishi Pajero(montereo), there was a mini parked in the street, so my friends and I(3 of us.. 7th graders), got out and MOVED it out of the way.. it was hilarious.

My father-in-law used to road race them. Those cars and engines weigh next to nothing so they can be made to move pretty quick. You'll probably never see one around, but watch out for the twini-minis, with an engine in the front and the rear. I saw one with a pair of 1340's with Cooper S heads that would embarass a lot of thirdgens.

I'll have to find the page again, but I saw a mini with a V-8 under it's pint sized hood...Speaking of V-8 Mini's, once saw a cream colored mini back in texas that had a big block...that was complete insanity, back halved, tire...rear end, tire...Couldn't see much for axle, just little stubs...
