lol, everyone wants to race me now that the seasons over...
i will race both the 5.9rt and the 300zx this weekend...
What are they odds for me against the dakota 5.9 rt???
I haven't asked the kid what he's done to it, but he wants to race me pretty bad. He has several appearance mods, and a lot of money, i know he hasn't put a power adder or anything on tho...
and i know he doesnt have an exhuast, so if he had an intake, how would i do???
i think these trucks run 15's, but i've heard they've run slower than that? Am i wrong? i dont understand why he wants to race so bad...
Its not for money anyways tho, but tell me my odds please

My brother had a 5.9 R/T I think the dakota is bigger and they do have something like 250hp and 340 or 350 torque .... I would say you could take him .... 300ZX I won't touch cause I don't know them.

if you are in the 14s you can take the r/t...i would say if he has no exhaust mods, then he probably hasn't done anything else to it either....but i could be wrong..as far as a n/a 300z you should be able to take them too...i think they're also high14 low 15 cars...

I got beaten on the street. I talked to the guy. He had headers/exhaust, and he said it ran 14's. I gave it my best and he took me by a length or two. Beware

 

Both should be in the mid to high 15s with minor mods. But could be 14s with intake, heads, etc...

the kid in the 300zx was like "yea i'll lose", so i still dont understand why he bet so much $ at first....
oh well, i'm racing them both this weekend, at the track and at Avenue P in Newark NJ, i'll post the results

What year is the 300ZX? and is it a TT or not.

i have nothing but respect for the 300ZX z32 (90-96) TT's. VERY easy to mod $1000 and you are at 400HP with those.

 

All the guy said he had was headers and exhaust. I run a 15.0 so two lengths would be 14.8 or so. Or my car could have been running poorly that day.

 

yea i have respect for the 300zx TT's also, i was either getting one of those or an iroc :-)
its not a twin turbo tho, its already been determined that i'm winning, (between the kid and I) but we're racing this weekend, most likely tommorow...
