how big of a tip can you stand on the car?
i would say an exhaust would be the first cheap mod and gives thing you should do to it. as for cams well I dont know it has been a while since I looked for parts for a car that has cams and pistons and stuff.
but for a car that old you prolly not going to find much
but hey if you want to talk more just IM me or use ICQ
check the sig

Got rotary?
running a turbo motor with 12psi.
full dual 3 1/2" pipes comming off the turbo
FMIC,CAI, ram air, e-fan,
soon to have ported intake,TB, and motor
best time 12.5 on G-tech
prev best time 14.8
hoping for 11.x soon :-)
but I broke another driveshaft...
and still running full street trim :-)

sorry have to throw it in here but you can also pick up a old first gen rx7 for about 500 bucks and pull some minor mods and make it fairly fast
or step up to a second gen like what I have and you can even get an N/A to pull 14.x with minor mods

hey silverstreak-
for your sentra, if you really want to
add power to your nissan, first of all you
need to try and find a cheap header
(i think hedman makes one for your car, as
well as pacesetter-they probably have a
cheap cat back exhaust too)
next get a down pipe- might have to be custom
made, but find a muffler shop and they'll
probably do it.
then-if you live in an area where there is
no e-check, put a test pipe in place of the
cat- or just have it gutted out.
also try to fabricate a cold air intake out
of flex hose and put a piece of pvc on the end and fit a k&n cone (it'll work better than the cylinder shaped k&n)try to route
this into the fender well-but keap it sealed
up- keeps water out
after that, try a tune-up and have the carb
cleaned-this should help a little

Well first off thanks to those that gave me some ideas. especially those tht gave brands. now for those of you who don't know, i have an 87 z28 with an l98 and complete drivetrain suspension etc out of an 89 IROC, oh yeah, 27k on the drivetrain, poly bushings, trw 1" drop springs, stroked, bored, ported and polished, airfoil, headers, 3" exhaust.... used to be a tpi 305 till someone stole it and stripped it, so now we did a swap/ the sentra is te mileage car. can't beat 35 mpg on the street man, but if there was a single slowest car on earth.... cant take the z on the hour plus commute, just a little too paranoid for that one, not to mention the 18 mpg on the freeway. dam* gears. anyway, im a thirdgenner, just can't stnd havin such a sloooowwwwwwwww driver, so people like monkie and sc(although sc is funny) need to pay attention to the subject line where i asked IMPORT guys like rx7 to help me out. oh and rx7, where could i find one for 500? i been lookin, everyone wants 1500+ out here. i love that rotary, still no match for a small block, but if i need n import, thats the one id want. as for nissan boards, i dont know any and my guess is that theyll be full of ricers tellin me to toss a few stickers on it. thanks again to those that actually said something intelligent.

I have seen them at the local car lots around here
also you can go to www.thepartstrader.com and ebay.com
granted they dont always look that great and you are prolly not going to get much more thne 20-25 mpg out of them but a little bit of work and well yeah they can do a bit
mine with just 1.3L only mods include a blown muffler, header, mild port intake, and intake filter pulled a best of 14.8 at 92
put the turbo on there and pulled a g-tech of 12.5 so they can do some nice stuff also
as for the nissan forums though I have no clue
I would say just look around

my friend had bought an 86 RX-7 for 500 bucks, man was that car a piece!
but it was a fun piece until he reved it to like 10 grand or something like that. that car was the funniest thing, he was always drivng it around w/ no rocker panels or a hood
memories.....
if he wasnt a moran about it he could have nicely restored that car. ive always had a soft spot for RX-7s.
