How fast do u think a 1998 Buick Regal GS is?

My dad has a 1998 buick regal gs. It has a 3.8 v6 wit a super charger. its the quickest car ive ever driven. i was wondering if anyone has heard any quarter mile times for one of these. Its a total sleeper too. before i got my car id drive that and man it is fast. When we got it the guy at the dealership said it does 0-60 faster than a corvette. I found that hard to believe but after driving it i am starting to believe that it might really be that fast. Well any help would be appreciated.

My friends got a GTP with the same engine. Defenetly quick. Id say high 14's low 15's. Unless its modded with a new Pulley, PCM, and exhaust

fast yes, nowhere close to a 'vette though. that salesman was either a complete moron, had 0-60 data from 20 yrs ago, or was flat out lying to your face. Take a ride in a C5, you'll see what i mean.

regal is rated at 240 hp. less torque though. not amazingly fast, id rather cruise a new altima, but thats only in the mid size sedan class. my z is my choice. the regals, gtp's are both 14.90's to 15.10's with traction, but they are fwd. i wouldnt mind, but they are just too slow to be my race car. faster than my nissan sentra driver though.

I used to race my neighbors 99GTP and we would tie all the way. Who ever took off first would win. I had a 1978 355 Corvette with a 292 Magnum cam(pretty healthy). I ran my vette at Gateway and it ran a 14.5? @ 92 mph. I would do 80 in the eighth mile.

silverstreakII sorry man you are wrong about the ft/lbs...the supercharged 3.8 has 240hp and 280 ft/lbs. They are quick cars but they are not as quick as Vette's.
