If your friends car is stock I would say the race would be about even. The 3.8 F-body (96-02) can usually pull 15.0 to 16.0 depending on axle ratio and of it's got all the heavy ground fx and spoilers.

You should win if the RS is stock. Just take it easy on the "my V6 smoked your V8.." comments after you win

His car is the t-top model with absolutely no mods to it. I have an open air cleaner but not installed yet. Does anyone think that will make much of a difference. Also I have a 3" american thunderflowmaster exhaust done.

The open air cleaner will make a huge difference. A little trick is to just use the top part of the open element piece and switch it with the stock air cleaner lid. That way you have a snorkel still for cold air , but it's still an open element.

I say the v6 gets ya.
He has 200 HP and you probaly have 190 with your exhaust.
You also have a bad gear ratio.
Im pretty sure youll lose.
