Nice kill!

How many lengths did you have on him? How fast did you race to? I was pretty sure you wouldnt have a problem beating him, cuase I killed one with my little old 305. Thanks for posting the results of the race. Most people around here just talk about racing for hours...but we never find out how things turned out.

Aren't the GTA's low 14 second cars? The 4R70W 4.6L GT convertible (pre-'99) was a mid to high 15 second car. I'd think you would have had at least 10 carlengths on him by 95 mph.

My car only went 15.1 at 90 bone stock with no tune-up, at 600ft
of elevation and 58,000 miles.

Ive seen a lot of 89-90 GTA's running in the 14.7-15.0 range stock. Their motors dont make as much power as the 91-92 motors, and they are heavier because of all their goodies. 91-92 Z28/formula/TA's can pull low 14's stock...sometimes. Im sure older mustangs are the same way. After 10+ years of use and sometimes abuse, you can never really know for sure how they will perform.

Yeah. In general the 5.7 IROC's, Formulas, and the 91-92 5.7's for both models are capable of low 14's stock, Camaros more though due to lighter weight and a better intake and stuff. Its not much of a difference usually, like maybe .2's give or take. Not much but a little edge though.
