Ok, I had a post in here a while back and got a little ragged on becasue I had said that I had added headers and an open element to my LO3 and was wondering if I could keep up with any 5.0s. Well, I was told that what was still not possible with that stuff.
So, I just bought an LT1 cam, intake manifold (not sure which yet), and a TBI adaptor plate for that. Before I put that stuff in, I will be rebuilding the old LO3 and adding new World Products S/R Torquer heads. Hopefully after all these mods, I will finally get the exhaust upgraded to full 3" from the headers back.

Fianally after all that stuff will I be able to beat me some Crapstanges? I'm also shooting for some suspension mods like boxed and relocated LCA's. Maybe try to find a way to make my own SFC's.

Oh, if you could give me a power estiamte on that, it would be great, I don't need exact, I was shooting for 300, but I am thinking it will be closer to 250 than 300.

I'm planning on doing the exact same thing as you with my 305; except I'm going with a bigger cam. I can beat most 5.0 auto's right now with my mods but with those mods I could prolly beat the stock 5-speed 5.0's and murder most modded auto's. With my future mods I'm shooting for 270hp at the flywheel.
