Well coming out of the gas station and up rolls this new mustang and he must of just got new exhaust cause he was reving the engine. He didnt see my car so I started it up and pulled up next two him and gave him 2 big revs[my car was much louder] and the guy starts to laugh. So I decided to show off A little bit and I did a doughnut In the gas station intrance[didnt mean to do a full circle] So as Im pulling out he rushes to his car and pulls up next to me and I was nervous[ I have only had my license a month plus im not to sure about this crappy t-5, it cant take my power] anyway, The light turned green and I smoked em through first so he got a jump on me put I put it in 2nd and he saw nothin but tail lights till next stop light[I dont know how many cars lengths because My heart was racing and it was a blur. He gave me a thumbs up and went on his way.

One kill for the Iroc.:hail: :lala:

Good kill. I take it either the motor or tranny isn't stock in your car?

Get an aftermarket shifter with positive stops, this will keep you from destroying that t-5 when you powershift or speedshift.

good kill

good job
shifter or not, eventually the T5 will be terminal. Get an aftermarket torque arm that does not bolt up to the trans. Reduces case flex a whole lot.

The L98 was form a vette.
I know the T-5 has been rebuilt like 3 times because 3rd gear blew up. The guy said that last time he had it done he got it beefed up. Not sure was he had done though.

yeah save up for a 6-speed from a 94-97 Camaro or T/A it won't be that bad swaping it in to your car.

If you ever need a rebuild or HI-Po trans call D&D Performance in Wixom michigan. They advertise in MM&FF, they have all sorts of strong parts and complete transmissions. And they are very nice and personal with their customers. They carry T5, T45, T56, everything you could imagine. Their website is www.ddperformance.com.
