I OWN A 87' IROC-Z WITH A 5.7LITER TPI ENGINE. IT HAS A 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC AND POSI REAREND. THE ONLY MODIFICATION IS A FLO-PRO EXHAUST. MY FRIEND HAS A 91' RS WITH A 5.0L TBI ENGINE AND AUTOMATIC TRANS. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY HIS HAS A POWER CHIP BUT THE IDIOT DOESNT KNOW. WE HAVE NEVER RACED. JUST WANNA SEE WHAT EVERYONE THINKS ABOUT AN OUTCOME.

 

Man, you're from colorado springs too? Anyhow, the iroc should smoke the TBI unless the dude has a ton of stuff on it. A chip is not gonna make up the deficit.

Your car should be able to hand it to him pretty good. I agree that just a chip in the other car will not help him much in beating your IROC.

 

Give him about 10 carlengths...

That will make it it feel even better when you fly by him like he's standing still

 

Don't forget a friendly wager....

 

I'd say you have him by about 15 lengths. Even if he has a chip it's not going to give him any significant power.

 

If you type in caps it adds 10-20 HP......no really ---its dyno tested
