'69 COPO, unless I'm mistaken it for the Yenko, that's the aluminum block 600hp right? Plus I love the first gen body style.

 

it didnt have anywhere near 600, i think it was more like 450-500. I put the Berger because i like curves too not just straight lines

 

70 1/2 the 2nd gens are what its all about

 

The 69 COPO I believe did have the all aluminum small block underrated at 450hp ZL1 427 engine.

it was a big-block. car ran deep into the 11's off the showroom floor. Has like a $50,000-$60,000 price tag nowadays. What an awesome car!

 

I am having a really hard time between the 2001 Berger SS and the 69 COPO I love them both.

 

Shoot i'll take the 2002 "Black Bird" eddition Trans Am.

The IROC-Z28. Those 427's are something though.

 

Its kind of funny there are cars that are valued at around $50-$60K up there and the IROC which can be had for $2000 and less is beating all but one.

Why is there an 87 iroc but not a 92 z28? IMO the 92 z28's are very close to an all black yenko!

 

someone correct me but wasn't it the 69 yenko
and the 69 yenko and the copo camaro were pretty much the same thing with both being the all aluminum 427?

I dont believe the yenko was an aluminum block, just hopped up by Don Yenko. I know a lil bit more about the COPO it was a 69-not 67 and the engine was RPO code ZL1 all aluminum 427. The copos had nothing in the looks department, just looked like a base model but they would roast anything on the streets

 

69 Copo, The 1969 Camaro, anyone, was the best year for the Camaro period! Especially with an all aluminum 427!

I know there are some awesome cars that are not on the list but I didnt want to put too many. I considered a 67 Z28, 92 Z28 25th Anniversary, and a 82 Berlinetta. I know some of you are saying " what, a berlinetta" but hey I like them. I cant believe the IROC is actually in 2nd. I just but it on there because I have one, I didnt think people would take that one over any of the others. I know this is a third gen F-body site but would anybody object to me doing a best Vette poll? Just wondering.

 

That would be because IROC's kick *** and are the overall most liked car that came out of the Third Gen.

 

The 69 COPO's are tight. And it's winning ahhh yeah
