I have a 1985 IROC Z Camaro with a 305 TPI LB9 engine and 3.42 gears, auto. My girlfriend has a 1997 jetta with a turbo charger. The only mod my car has is a ADS chip. Do u guys think that I will be able to win or keep up with her.... Thanks

I'm not sure what the Jetta runs, but I'd say your lookin at low 15s? Is she a good driver, is it a stick, cause she may not keep the car at high rpms for that turbo to get full boost. My guess would be the Jetta is a high 15 sec car.

 

If ya havent seen me said it yet, I'll say it again.. you got a gorgeous IROC! Just something about it that puts it out among the rest, maybe the color.
..Back to topic.. LOL, I gotta chick up my road that drives a Cabrio, slow as hell, or maybe she is, dunno?? But I'd rather have sex with her than race her HEHE... you didn't hear it from me lol.
But now that ya throw in the turbo charger, dunno tough call. Dude its your girl, just go race her. My sister used to race my bro-in-law, which is her husband, when they were dating. She had an 89 Firebird Formula 350. And he had an 86 Camaro SC 2.8 lol. They still raced, but as my sister said, she would "kill him" on the highway... or anywhere for that matter.

I would say the jetta would take ya...depends on driver tho.

I have a 85 Z too....before the 350...she was high 15s...low sixteens. with the auto doin the work.
