The only difference between the two, if there is any, might be ground clearance. Otherwise that all accomplish the same thing, to stiffen that baby up.

there is a difference if...

There is a difference if you have dual cats. The Comp Engineering will not fit to dual cats without bending and modifying stuff.

Dual cat guys take notice the only cylindrical tube style SFC that I've found that fits the dual cat (RPO N10) and is priced within reason (less than $250 CDN) is the MAC.

Go figure.

I've seen Mac frame connectors warp on a 5.0.

MAC = Crap

Comp. Eng. does make a set specifically for dual cats, they sent me them by accident so I had to send them back for the single cat.

That is VERY bad news about the MAC sfc's. ANy idea how much power the 5.0 was making before it bent the MACs ? I was wondering about this because they looked to be 'light duty' compared to some SFCs that I've seen, eg: you get what you pay for.

I was quoted over $450 CDN for the Comp Engineering for dual cat SFC. The single cat version was really cheap.

Don't know how much power the stang was making, but it ran high 13's at Luskville when it happened. He thought his car suddenly started pulling to one side and it was hard to get it to go staright. Bout a month later I saw him there again and he said one of his MAC's warped on takeoff.

$450 is waht i paid for my single cat set, and the duals are more expensive, if you got quoted $450 for duels then GREAT.
Its alot of money for just steel but it's well worth it.

Now, I have my brand new clutch slipping, what else will go wrong???
