Home Pics!

Well here's the preliminary pics of my new house! I think I did pretty good for a little starter home.

http://www.angelfire.com/on3/whitelightening/home.html

It should serve me well for the next 5 years then I can move into something a little bigger when Lauren's finished school and has a job, probably in Burlington.

Nathan: Actually 60-90 days is normal for closing. Sometimes if the house is vacant you can get it in 30 days. It's okay, I need time to figure out how I'm gonna pay for furnishings.

Dave: You got it! Hamilton-bound I am!

skidoo: Yup, very proud papa! Can't wait!

Smoka: Thanks...I think I'm covered, but don't worry, you'll still be invited for the house warming! I'm thinking of have a ThirdGen - Ontario Region BBQ...of course I have to buy the BBQ first!

Ah yes, the moving...it sucks. I hate packing! But at least it will give me a good opportunity to get rid of some junk that's been lingering around...including cars parts! I need to have a liquidation sale!

Good job Chris!

Nice job Chris! Looks like a real nice safe area too! You should be real proud! When you plan on starting to reno, let me know - I'd love to help you out with some reno ideas for wherever you need - kitchen, bath, basement etc. And I'm sure that a lot of us would be willing to help you with the garage!
Congrat Chris - I look forward to your house warming - give us all a chance to finally meet. I cruise through Hamilton quite a bit when the weather is nice - so maybe we can get together some night - I will be the other white IROC...lol

TAZ: haha...NOT!

Dave: Cool

Nathan: Actually, right in the middle between Barton and Cannon.

s10ss2000: Cool man...the garage needs a lot of work on the outside and I've got it all planned out in my head how I want it to be. But all the exterior upgrades and landscaping stuff are gonna be waiting till next spring as I've got to buy all my appliances and furniture first. But that won't affect the house warming!

Congrats buddy.. welcome to owning your own money pitt!! hahahahaha.. All I have to say is make sure you have enough money because I have seen alot of guys lose their babies( CAR) over the house.. I never did... because i swore the house would go first.. and that's the way it still is... Just remember you don't have to do everything at once.. take your time.. otherwise you will be in the poor house bad...

Congratulations

haha...I already own a money pit for the last 4 years! It's white and has 4 wheels...So nothing's new there! And I hear ya about buying everything at once...I've changed my strategy a bit and I'll also be looking to get a boarder for the first little while (a student for 8 month lease kinda thing) to pay off some things a little quicker. It's all under control...at least for now!
