I just checked into mapquest.com and the route they select is the best for tourists but not one we would want to take. Over 2 hours by mapquest. That is nuts. I can get to GB from Kitchener in 1 hour and 20 minutes even after stopping once at McDs for burgers. I'll give you a call.

from kitchener just take number 7 Hwy all the way to 81 Hwy. Hwy 7 and 81 meet up at an intersection out side of town and run together until you get to Parkhill, Hwy 81 goes right and continues on through Parkhill (hwy 81 becomes main street) and highway 7 curves left and runs away from town.
take hwy 81 through Parkhill, stop just outside of town at the "Scenic Lookout" for the meeting and then carry on on Hwy 81 to Grand Bend.

i hope you guys now, that most and could be all provinciasl parks are closed this weekend due to the strike. Nobodys cleaned or cut the grass and it they are grown over. I would call before hand and make sure.
