If my car is ready!

I'm coming too!!!!!! This will be my first trip to drag strip so I'm looking forward to being blown away by all your cars and mods. Is everyone going to meet in a certain spot? This way I'll know where to find you guys. Maybe we should all meet at a certain time and place at the track or a coffee shop in the area? What do you guys think? Lets plan something

I am in for the 10th. I am hoping that this isnt some real huge speed fest because my little old l03 cannot compete with the likes of Irockers 350 . Regardless atleast I will look good screaming down the track to my 16 sec 1/4 mile, baby I just cant wait till the drive train swap takes place and I get something with some decient performance.

So what are the details regarding this its it sort of a show up pay a couple bucks and you are enrolled in the events???

i will be there too.

tanager11

all you do is show up and pay to get into the track. 2 prices :
1 to race and the other to watch.

they treat it just like a test and tune day untill near the end when the TO fbody does thier races

I'm thinking of coming, but not to race, just to watch.

I'm not going to beat my car :P It's my BaBy!

How far away is it from Toronto? Can somebody give me directions?

easySPEEDcamaro i would tell you but it mite turn out to be to much to read. (just like the rest of this link!)

go back to the top and ACTUAL READ IT. there is TWO people that posted how to get there. Palric posted a mapquest link and Irocker posted the tracks web page. BOTH will tell you how to get there

yahoo is incorrect

Hey easySpeed St. Thomas is about 45 minutes from my place in Kitchener and it takes me one hour and 10 minutes to go from my door to Aurora (Yong/Wellington) so how can it take you another 3 hours go from North York to St. Thomas ?

I don't think Yahoo's times are right. I'd figure on about 2 hours 15 minutes. Still a long drive but not 3 hours worth as Yahoo says.

Easyspeed... Santa Clara California US to Toronto Ontario Canada Approx distance 5600km... 40 driving hrs at 140 kmph.

What's 2 hrs and 200 km compared to that?

Just this weekend I did a gas milage run of 500 km Brampton to Ottawa in 3.5 Hrs... avg speed 140 kmph with 200 kmph bursts when tailgaters **** me off. On the way back did 120 kmph to see if I'd save any on gas.. nada lost 30 mins of life to driving there, still turned out the same. The thing is if your car is mint, a few 1/4 mile runs won't hurt it. I'm on 290000 km and will still do some runs for fun. Why? I trust my car. I know it runs stronger today than it did a few years ago.. comparable to even when it was new.

My money is on Slade. His engine might look small, but that car has *****!!!

Have fun everybody!

I am out for the 10th, I am headding up to Wasaga for the "wake board" competition with a couple of buddies. Geez, tough decision, nice cars and the drag strip vs. hot girls on the beach.....geez tough decision. I will try and con a couple of them into taking some pics on my hood or something like that for you guys, have fun on the 10th.
