hey where yah been ?
Hey Nathan,
I saw this ad already. I get nervous when I hear talk of LT1 Vette 305s which means either the seller is trying to fudge or truly does not know what they are talking about. In either case not the kind of person I am comfortable dealing with for that kind of car.
The guy I was playing lets-make-a-deal with in Alabama for the PC car with 9800kms on it and never raced will not budge from his sky-high price so I figure I'll stick with the Formula.
thx anyway,
RP.

I love seeing race cars with plates on them. Heheh, LT1 Corvette engine. I think my GTA was advertised as having one of those when I bought it:lala:

There's no such thing as a thirdgen LT1... didn't exist till fouthgen... Even if it got the hotter cam like an LT1, it wasn't an LT1. Definitly not an original I say. Even if it was the secret 1le model, it would be only 1 of 4 made for 88.
All I see is
So the engine must have been added afterwards, and even then vette's didn't get 305's they got 350's, only the camaro's were available with 305/350 options, not the vette. Now from my interpretation, he could have an LT1 camshaft on a 305 but by far, I would call this whole thing false advertising and unless you knew a bit about thirdgen cars, you'd be easily duped. I think that's who he is aiming for in selling to.

Or maybe he's just misinformed like a good number of L98 owners. When I was shoppping for a car 5 years ago, most of the L98's I saw where advertised as being LT-1's. Gentlemen, I don't think it's anything to get worked up about.
