With a properly programmed PROM I don't think you'd have any problems. Lift doesn't have much effect on how dirty a cam is, it's the duration and overlap. The HotCam was designed from the get go to be an EFI preformance cam so it has minimal overlap but relativley high duration. Ask on the TPI board or ask at http://www.corvetteforum.com . That's where I ask any important questions I have concerning TPI.

I have a cam 450/460

I'm pretty sure the LTx cams are designed with some overlap since for those engines they attempted to kill the EGR in the design. This is done with the overlap allowing some exhaust gas back into the cylinder, which is the same purpose as the EGR. As for their success, I'm not too sure what the numbers are but the design did help somewhat. If anything, it will actually help emissions I think.

I dont have an LT4 cam..but mine idles OK..Its a Comp Cams 08-305-8

LSA 114
220in 230 ex half lift
.510/.510 lift
hyd roller

"To work with the stock computer, higher stall TC," etc etc

My criteria for cam choosing
1)Application-street or drag or towing..etc..
2)Head flow
3)TC stall
4)weight of vehicle
5)rear gears
6)RPM range-based on intake and all the above mentioned

WO WO WO WO !! This is an engine I am building a 350 I have on a engine stand at home... just trying to find out what works good..

hahahahaha
you thought it was in my car!! umm no..
That is a 305 5 speed stock heads and cam just free mods and underdrive pulleys

Soon to have 1 5/8 SLP headers though.. for testing at the next dyno run.. and maybe a custom chip if I can figure out volumetric Efficency.. VE... what a pain it is..
