I think I warned you on them... your original exhausts were performance exhausts from GM, so the actual gain over your stock ones are low...

Damn, where's the header!?!? Can't even see it on the passenger side. I can see why people don't want to do the install themself. I've only done them on LG4 cars, and they are a snap. What's the plug clearance like on that side? Driver side looks pretty good. Did you go back and retorque the header bolts after a few heat cycles? Make sure to do the collectors as well, I had a problem with mine. If the leak is bad, you'll loose some of bottom end torque.

His gains may be minimal now over stock exhaust, but I believe he bought them with future plans in mind.

I HATE those air tube things. I think they make GREAT headers look crippled.

Gotta fix the leak and then hit the go pedal then I bet you will find noticeable power gains but I wonder if you have to throw on a flowmaster to make the setup work right ? Free'er flowing and all that ? I still have my factory muffler I think it chokes my engine pretty bad.

adious,
RP.

I have an Dynomax Ultra Flow.. it doesn't get any any better flowing than that.. my exhuast is all set up..Slp headers through 2 cats(for emissions) into 3inch into the Dynomax muffler and out..

so if your headers are stainless then why do they look so rusted already? How much run time did it take for them to look like that?

it took all of about 30 seconds for my headers to look like that.. and when you apply extreme heat to stainless steel they will go brown on you... just won't raut on ya..if I owuld have a got the coated ones they wouldn't have done that.. but I didn't have an extra $200US.. I thought it was enough...

no gains ?

So all that and you can't tell that you have headers on the carv? Did the mid-top end improve ? Give me some hope here I am going to do headers this fall.
