Not that I'm ever opposed to beer ...hehe... but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to bring it too the track. We are there to drive after all. Just my 2 cents.

I'm with you on that Chris, I was wondering about that. I can see after we are all said and done , and we hang out for a couple of drinks afterwards, but not during. All I can say is that everyone needs to act responsibly and use good judgement.

I'll bring my BBQ and two coolers for drinks and beer. As I said before in my other Post, if say 5 of us want burgers it dosen't make sense for each of us to bring a box. Unless you guys want to. I think everyone should make a list of what they want to eat and drink(pop drinks, everyone brings their own beer) and one person does the shopping either myself or Slade since we have costco memberships. At the track everyone pays their share back.

Does this make more sense. Yes/No?

I want to eat Burgers and hotdogs(sausages) and drink coke.

Anyone else?

A committee would work nice and to our advantage then we could just tally up a cost based on what items everyone wants and charge that or at the least an expected charge amount...

That would be fine with me. I will bring another BBQ and if we need it, I can bring a cooler also. As far as eating, Burgs and Sausages sound good to me. If you plan on getting sausages, I would recommend getting smoked since they are already cooked, you just need to heat them through.Debrezinies are nice.

I'll take the lead for the food committee. I'll be bringing 1 BBQ, 2 coolers and 1 water jug. As for food, the list will include burgers, hot dogs and smoked sausages.

Kevs87TA - Bring your BBQ and cooler, the more BBQs, the more food we can cook.

Ketchup, mustard, relish. onions, tomatoes and pickles will be the toppings. If I missed any toppings please list.

The pop list will be coke, sprite, iced tea and root beer. As for beer, everyone brings their own.

I hope that this "menu" is to everyones liking. If I missed anything or if there is a food or drink item that you prefer, please list. If you list an item, that only you will be eating or drinking, then you will have to cover the costs yourself.

im still thinking im there..although i wont have the roc....sold the spolier still cant find the friggen problem, not sure what the hell it is..but i will hopefully be there to show support for you guys..but on a side note...i did find out that i have a transplanted 350 in my roc(forgot to write the number down)
at the krispy kreme donuts meet when i was there i was talking to slade(i hope you remember this) and i said i can shift very easily when im in the 6000 redlines..and you(slade) said that i more then likly already have a cam...and you are correct...it seems to be some kind of comp cam(stamped on the end) but i have no info or part #.. would this constitute for me doing such a low 1/4 mile time?? or do you believe that im still full of ..either way i will try and be there to support you all...

iroc2nv

ps i will have beer in hand because i wont be driving, and i am a fussy eater so dont include me in your bar b que although it does sound tempting

That's why I asked you about the shift points. It seemed odd to me that a 305 was shifting that high and still had the mild cam sound.

350 with a mild cam sounds just right, it would explain those g-tec numbers as well. From the few people I've seen use it, they're not off by a lot in terms of times. James ran his and got a pretty close time to his actual time, the mph was off though. Actual mph is actually less than a gtec.

okay...a cammed 350 would explain 1/4 mile times similar too your 14 sec g-tech times but unless you have a built 350 with some decent heads and other goodies 13s are not believable, and seeing as you didnt have headers yet, chances are that your 350 isnt anything too extreme...cause headers would be a necessity on a high performance 350. but the fact remains you have a 350...you can make it a real performer very easily, especially if its got a decent cam in it already. i wish i had a 350.

Actually the g-tec time was dead on. The mph however on the g-tec was 7mph faster. I believe on a straight level road a g-tec is quite reliable. The mph is always going to be faster. As for the other options (hp, g-force) I still have to test those.

Oh, and I wish I had a 350 under my hood!

no not out...but sorta apart...

they have it at the exaust shop doing stuff and cant get the headers by the a/c but they checked the code on the back of the block(i think they said back) and ran it and it came out as a 350 from 87

and i still havent found out whats wrong with it..so all in all the car is sitting and she hates that

A mildly cammed 350 isn't gonna run 13.5's and I don't even shift past like 5800rpm. Comp doesn't stamp "Comp Cams" on the end of the cam they stamp the grind number like "XR276-10". I'm gonna regulate every one of you bull****ting goofs if I have to.

what ever you say accel...keep talking, im just going on what the guys at the exaust shop told me...no more no less...anyways...i am going to be getting the extreme cam from comp anyways in about 2-3 months...then when i done that im gonna hit it with dart heads and do the rods and everything else i need to do and call your little punk *** out and beat you..

if you are wondering if i am pissed off i am... you are ****ing idiot and just b/c your car is a piece of **** you dont have to go and think you are cool with your internet nerds and say

haha haha ..cuz i could do that too..but then again i am not a computer nerd so there would be no point..

ill leave it at that b/c if i dont im gonna say something that offends someone/s (i know not proper english but i dont give a flying ****) you are one of the most ignorant ****** on this board and someone should shut your mouth for you cuz you obviously dont know how to do it yourself..(this only goes for accel)

That's the best part. Why don't you put a 3/4 cam and an Elderbrock intake while your at it.

My post was some what harsh, I apologise.

You get that engine built and shoot me a PM. You'll get to see my piece of **** first hand. You're gonna need more than "Dart heads and rods" though. Geez, you guys really should learn how to express yourselves without cussing. It makes you sound even more ignorant than you really are. Well, probably not.

Thanks,
Paul

This is what is sad. Here we rip into ricers and punks alike.
Meanwhile we have someone who defaces a thirdgen with every "Canadian Tire Like" part imaginable and talks like he brushed his teeth with feces and we put up with it.

Iroc2nv, you need to wake up. Calling people out in that Walmart sponsored Iroc, don't even refer to it as and Iroc, it's embarrasing to the rest of us. It is now the Walroc.

Do you even know what a "real" 13.5 feels like. Cause a plain 350 with a cam is not gonna make it.

You better start off with some small fish, like Geo's and k-cars before you come trying to talk smack to the big boys.

Junior....

hey cruz..you can lick easy's ***** too...just because my car(as well as some others on here that have the ***** to do things different to their cars) gets more positive attention then yours you dont have to be so crusty...how bout you grow up and learn how to relay some constructive critisism instead of thinking you are the badest and best around cuz i hate to tell ya "junior" you aint and you never will be... have fun in your little escapade because i am really supprised the level headed people in here can handle an ego the size of yours and everyone else that has the brain the size of a pea..

as to the people who actually have a brain, im sorry that you had to see this side of me, but you can only take so much and ive gone over that limit..now there is a war on and i dont lose most wars i start...cuz i am not perfect and i know that that is why i dont say i win always...

i dont have a walmart car/nor canadian tire/nor any other place like that..ill have you know there is only quality parts on my car right down to the nightshade used on my tailights. but if you took your head out of your *** a few times a year youd know that kind of things now wouldnt you..

b4 you flame think to yourself...is this really neccesary...and is what i am saying really neccesary? cuz most of the time you sound like an immature child or just plain out jackass,, i know i should follow my own logic but im sick of the assonine people on this entire site...

grow up people and show some respect for others, you just may get some back in return
