NO more MAC SFCs in Canada ?

I talked to K&K Racing in Stratford they say the ONE CDN importer of MAC SFCs is gone dead and I can't get MAC SFCs for the foreseeable future.

How can that be ? There has to be someone else importing them does anyone know the factory direct number ?

thx in advance,
RP.

I'm not taking credit for knowing this. IROCKER provided me with the info and I'm going to pass it onto you.

Yes, there is no distribution of MAC SFC's. The guy is dead. He was also the reason why MAC SFC's were going for $199 clean.

But thanks to him kicking the bucket we now have to pay $249 plus freight($22) plus gst. Total will be close to $300 which is now out of my price range. I will wait until a new supplier comes on board. If you can't wait then here's the info you need:

Performance Cellar
1-141 Highway 8
Stoney Creek, ON

(905)664-3671

I called them already and they said that they can get the part from Michigan in about a week. They also provided he with the above quotes.

Let me know what you decide to do. Maybe they might give discounts for multiple orders? Look into it.

Palric....If the SFC's are really $99 U.S($150 canadian), what say you and me drive down on a Saturday in my van and pick up a set from a performance shop?? We find a store in Buffalo, confirm stock and price, go down pick it, throw the packaging out, keep only the SFC's and keep it in the back with other miscellaneous car junk which we'll declare on the way in and decalre the same stuff including the SFC's on the way back. What do you say??

Let me know.

There is no SFC's for $99USD Plus, once you get them imported up here you will be looking at a minimum of $300 after shipping, brokeage and taxes. If you have a way of getting around the extra importing costs than go for it. But I tried a couple years ago to get the IRS SFC's which are really cheap in the States and after all was said and done it was close to $400.

! I have a list of rough prices for all if you want me to list them.

What brand though?

Even at $99, unless you do make a trip to Buffalo, I'm still not sure it's worth it. $99USD, plus shipping which is at least $50USD (these things are heavy and not standard size packaging)...That $149 USD, converted is $232CAD. Now add on brokerage fees and taxes at about $40 and now you at aprox. $272. That's pretty close to the price for the MAC SFC's. If you make the Buffalo trip, that would be the only way to make it affordable.
