Hey guys and gals....I am a newbie here so please bear with me through my growing pains. I will try not to ask too many stupid questions and also keep my7 posts short and sweet.

so what kind of car do you drive and what does it have in? where are you located in Ontario?

 

Thanks man, I live about 35 mins away from Dorset in the middle of nowhere. I have a 1985 Camaro with the 305 that is my daily driver I got it when I was 16 brand new spent all I had on it and more for the next five years. I just got a 91 Ta 350 I got it real cheap from a local wreckers.It has low km's on it though.My plans are to swap the engines and restore my camaro. I hear it may be a real challenge but I like my old camaro. I also have a 92 Camaro with a 350 that is all stock with very low kms on it, unfortunatly though it was my fathers, he got it brand new full load, and past away shortly after and left it to me. I hardly ever drive it but could never get rid of it. It just sits, I maintain it and keep it as it was the day he got it.

 

wow...sounds like you have some nice cars there. i have heard of dorset, but i am not sure where it is. for whatever reason i think it is way up north, but please correct me if i am wrong, cause i most likely am.

 

welcome to the board man!! Yeah, sounds like you got yourself a nice collection of cars... you're story is similar to mine.. I was able to buy my 1988 Trans AM GTA last year with my inheritence from my late father

As for the "Harsh" comment, don't let a couple of people scare you off. I would have to say that 99% of the guys on this board are good guys and we have a great time meeting up at different events. It would be good to meet you also. We have a Track event planned for the 21st of Sept.in St Thomas and/or a Dyno Day in Kitchener on the 14th of Sept. Hope to see ya there.

 

Sorry to hear about your father.

As for his car - you might want to run it a bit more and get it up to full temp when you do because if they just sit around or are only used for short trips they start having problems.
