So, how did it go at Sparta?

I have to vicariously through your guys since I am working nights this week and had to waste this fine day sleeping. I wanna see some pictures! Regale me with tales of races won! If anyone is interested, there's the bunch of us going to the final test and tune in Grand Bend Next Saturday, Sept. 28th. I'm organizing the convoy down. Talk to you guys soon! Hope your day kicked a$$!

ohhhh and we had a fellow thirdgenner in the final four of the toronto fbody club brackets, i think out of about40-50 cars. But they didn't like it too much that he wasn't with the club. (i think they were scared)

Yup, that was me. While I was disappointed with my times (best of 14.28 @ 100 mph) I did get to the final four and took home $50. I could not hook up at all. My best 60 ft was 2.07.
I lost in the fourth round by .05 sec.

I believe I did us thirdgenner's proud.

I did absolute crap...and that's all I have to say. Regardless, I had a good time and saw a bunch of faces I haven't seen in a while.

I had a great time. Here's the ET ranking from my memory:

Acceld Z - 13.7
Daz - 13.7
Sudbury - 13.8
JohnyIROC - 14.0
88IROCBOB -14.2
darbleinad -14.2

After that I kinda lost track....

Man paul and daz tied like that? 13.7 lol. what was the 4 digit? Paul you notice much dif with those headers?

Man that really sucks about the kevin and kevin thing . If your subframes are bent, like Ive said before to people just go get them straightened out. Its not as much as you would think and if handling is out wack it will be as good as new after. If theres one good thing about a subframe setup other than weight its that it usually bends it one spot making it easy to bend back.

What happened with a thirdgenner cutting someone off? That kind of sucks. Only thing worse than an fbody getting damaged is 2 fbodies getting damaged .

Irocbob thats pretty sweet how you pulled a 4th man. Definately something to be proud of when your against some of the haaaardcore 4th genners. Congrats man.

Rochead your beating stock lg4s and tbis with a domestic ***** now eh?
If a japanese import is a ***** because the ethanol in their fuel is from rice, and macewens or whoevers ethanol blend comes from corn, should domestic four bangers be called cobbers? Theres some food for your brain...

Jay, let me guess, did Paul smoke the tires halfway down the track again. We've done better, like 13.5. And Daz, what the hell happened. I remember a timeslip of yours at like 12.7 did I not?
Both of you must had a hard time hooking up.

I could have sworn that you showed a slip of 12.7 last year, but yes it may also be the emmissions. I failed miserably. I was allowed 300 and I got 3566. He said it's the highest he's seen yet.

No problem, Tracey. It was a good time, overall. It was also pretty impressive seeing that many f-bodies cruising past us on the 401. Next time, maybe...

You can see how johnys slicks helped . From what I understand in good track/weather conditions with slicks you would run a 13.3ish?
