It IS cooland and it IS from your heater core unless you left your window down.

Theres no way it can be my heatercore.
Last time my heatercore went was exactly a year ago..
and it was bright bright green, I never washed the carpet, so the water is just sucking up the light trace of it when it was there a year ago. Its not coolent... trust me.

Maybe a leak somewhere letting water in...

If not rain water (it did rain like a bitch yesterday) then the only fluid is coolant...

Does it have a bad odour? If so, it's from your heater core. If it doesn't, it might be rain water coming around the windshield/wipers area. Our cars are known for both problems...but the heater core leak usually makes itself obvious from the smell. That is, it will stink if you're running antifreeze/water for coolant. I have never used Water Wetter, so I don't know if it smells or not. Hope this helps.

Big question Dave...did you notice this after the massive rain yesterday? Or after washing the car? Need some more info.

actually guys,
I waited until the morning to see if it was going to continue to leak, I checked my coolent levels and I was low on them, so it is coolent leakin in. what do you guys think the problem is?
I just had a new heatercore put in a year ago, is it a hose problem? How can I fix this?
how much does it cost to fix?
And can I keep driving like this?
casue I have no choice really...

Sounds like the new heater took a crap on ya.

Only other thing to check is the hoses leading to the heater core at the firewall in the engine bay.

I bet it's just rainwater, soaked through the coolant-stained carpet. You'll know coolant, it just sounds like dilluted coolant....probably have a leak around where the weatherstripping meets your windshield. I had the same leak there, sucked, but silliconed it up.

I know how you feel buddy!!!! I thought buying a mint car would make it so that I don't have to fix nothing.

Instead I have to buy my second clutch on tuesday. This is the second one in the period of 50 days.

uh oh..

check the head bolts for coolant..A hairline crack or a headgasket failure could cause the car to overheat..I would bypass the heater for a couple of days and drive around see if you get the puddle..Start the car, open the rad cap and let it warm up.. do you see bubbles in the rad?

OTher possible cause
Rad caps pressure is too high, blows hoses and cheap heater core..
