Cool, but I will never buy the same model that cops use. If everyone had my attitude we wouldnt have to worry about unmarked cruisers and those scary false alarms when you fly by a maroon impala going 40 over only to realise the driver is elderly seconds after...

Yeah, 320 horse to the front wheels sounds like a good idea...
Not!
Sounds more like the steering wheel will probably be just a decoration, as the car is going to go wherever it torque steers itself.

I have to agree with NTChrist, 320 horse to the front wheels and dumb.. also, what freaking tranny are they using????? The trannies behind the 3800 Supercharged engines can barely handle stock torque, nevermind a damn V8...
Why don't they just go back to Rear Wheel focking Drive again!! Damnit
Oh... would hate to work on that beast... yout hink spark plugs are hard to do in our cars or 4th gens.. you probably have to pull the engine out to do tune up on that beast

I'm sure it would be about the same as the FWD V6 in my Oldsmobile (probably a bit worse, actually). The Haynes manual calls for disconnecting the engine mounts and leaning the engine forward to change the back side 3 spark plugs.

Bah! Never did like the newer Impala's. I agree with buddy on what he said about the '94-'96 Impala's, they were nice! But these...naw...even with the V8, not much changed with it.
