Very nice job Scott. Just curious, how come you didn't repaint the middle piece in black? Is that part too hard to do? Regardless, still very nice.

the paint i used was just base/clear. the same paint used for the body. it was left over from when i painted the engine bay.

STIFFLER... good one you will be eating your words later

IROCKER i never thought about painting it black. but now you said. so i will have to pull it back off and paint it too.

Mark A Shields... is there a date set? is there a date set? whens the big meet?

i looked at the chrome one, but it just does not go well with the rest of the polished parts. that could have saved me alot of time for sure

Looks good Scott, now all you need to do is complete the pretty picture. When you take it back off to paint the middle black, you should take the bracket off and polish it as well.

total time from start to finish was only about 5 hours of polishing and 1 or 2 of painting. realy not that long for the results i got.

"Stang Eater Where's the SLP's?????"

hahaha i still have them kicking around.

Kevs87TA
the bracket is broken. so i dont think i will take the time for it. i need a new one first. from there... we will see. i most likely will do it too. i wanted too last year when i had the engine out but just never had the time.
