Resto part 2

Thought I would update everyone on the resto.

My car is back at the garage, well its been there for a week since the holidays and all, but theres another problem that will be fixed tommorw, belive it or not... the problem is that the engine always floods it self, making it very hard to start. So tommorw we are going to fix that up. My car was coughing a lung trying to get started today. Im going to try to install those white gauges (I went to a junkyard and took apart a whole dash to figure it out haha) but I found at the junkyard a z28 Camaro with the nice grid style lights, the stearing wheel that I want, and the shift **** that I want, but they threw the car onto the pressing pile, so that car is going to be nothing soon

I found 2 set of rims that I really liked from the yard. I told him 200 dollars for the one set, he agreed but they were 14" and didnt fit my pattern
Than he showed me some other rims (another american racing) some nice fancy rims, seen them on many camaros here on the board, he wanted 75 a peice, he said I could have them for 250, but than agian they are FWD rims and they didnt fit the bolt pattern agian, but it came off a GM!

My back wheelwell is looking AWFUL ill post you some pictures, the one side is great, but the other side is Omg... a eye opener. its discusting! Im going to ask another connect at a diff. body shop mabye ohhh mabye Ill get a sweet deal.

Besides that I want to gut the cat, cuase my car is just silent that new muffler is defenatly not what I expected (I hate cdn tire now) but it does the job but its just not loud enough for me.
Besides that.. Im going to go buy paint (cherry apple red) and paint my back lights all red. I like the one line threw with the all red looks nice heres an example.

Thats all for now guys ill reply to this after tommorw.

Have a happy new year

If you want cheap wheels, a set of 16" x 8" IROC/GTA wheels could be an option.

I picked up a cheap set of 16" Formula rims for my Firebird, polishing them up currently. Paid $150 US back when I lived in the 'states.
If you have a good posi/locker, 8" wide rims is plenty tire to run some pretty quick times.

EDIT: Whoa, happy 1000th post to meee! Quad digits baby.

Gut the cat? Okay, so you don't care about the environment, but you still need to pass emissions with that car do you not? Pick up a dynomax 3" high flow for $125 and stay legal.

Good luck.
