I read your post and got excited so I turned on speedvision and there was ****ty car racing on it. My Uncle goes to the TT races every year and he has a few horror stories from them. He is missing a knee cap from a bike accident. He went all out into a turn and dumped the bike and slid into a concrete wall knee first, knocked down the wall and had to learn how to walk again. He ws told he would never walk normally again but he does
, he spent a few months in hospital and what did he do as soon as he got out? He went riding with his leg in a full cast sticking straight out from the bike
. His motto " I'll only die once" after the accident my Dad told you might only die once but you can get hurt a million times.
Enough rambling from me for now

Yeah getting back on after a bad crash is where you find out a few things about yourself.
There's some guy from Belfast who's been running in the TT for like 25 years or so and still doing well.
Ask your uncle if he's heard of Artie Bell - he ended his racing days after a bad crash in the Dutch GP and then opened a shop in Belfast - we used to get our cars and bikes from him.

Joey Dunlop was the king of the TT's he died on a 250 a few years ago and he had just done the same track earlier in the day on a 1000. My uncle still lives in Ireland so we dont talk much we moved here 7 years ago.

I could'nt remember his last name and I was going to say "Joey somebody or other" but I didn't want to put it that way. I didn't know he'd passed on - thought I saw him being interviewed last year. Anyway, the years they do fly.
