Front Lower Control Arm...

anyone ever replaced their front lower control arm bushings?....looks pretty simple just wondering if there is something i should be aware of?

make sure you shim correctly it depending on your alignment..(toe)..

It can vary. Some people put them in no problem at all. But for mine my mechanic had to do a bit of negotiating to get them in.

Correct me if I'm Wrong but there are no shims to worry about on The Lower Control arms of a Third Gen. As I recall even second gens only had shims on the uppercontrol arms to adjust caster and camber. Caster and camber on a thirdgen is adjusted using the strut tower mount.

The only thing I can think of that might be a problem is pressing the bushings in and out. If you do not support the inner and outer flanges of the Control arm where the bushing goes through you could bend it.
