Most useful tools?
I just finished changing the front wheel hubs/bearings on my Jimmy. Normally the job of unbolting the end of the transaxles is a major PITA, since the nuts are always rusted and torqued to a stupidly high 180-200 ft/lbs. I bent two cheaterbars on the same nut last time...
This time I bought the proper socket and slapped it on my electric impact gun. A little oil on the thread, and the nuts came off with practically no effort on my part. I'm amazed at how well that worked, even on the nut that hasn't been removed since the truck was new. My electric impact gun is probably my second most invaulable tool, right behind my trusty 18" breaker bar.
Anyone else? I'm curious as to what everyone else couldn't work/live without.

I had an electric impact gun, but i couldn't get the lug nuts off....so i took it back...i'm thinking it was a lower end gun....anyways.....i'd have to say my 3 ton floor jack and breaker bar......

I got an electric impact gun from crap tyre last year. It would't take the lug nutz of my father's car so I took it back and got another one which worked fine. Maybe some have more zap than others.

Actually mine is from Canadian Tire too, but I found mine on eBay. It hasn't let me down yet, although it does make one hell of a racket.
Another would be my trouble light. It has a socket built into the handle, which is unbelievably handy. It kinda goes hand-in-hand with the impact gun.

But I find my 190 piece set with the locking box that I DID win pretty nice. If I stop scattering it all over the garage.
