Hi guys i just wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about my car. My name is Mike and i own a 1984 Z28. I just recently turned 31 and i am just finding out that a computer is more than a $2000 auto trader. The 84 Z is the second third generation camaro that i own, but i still wish i had kept the 86 camaro i had, then i would still have 2. I have basically attempted to redo my car over the last year, while i am not to bad at mechanical stuff, i suck at body work, therefore i hired it done. The engine that is in my car is a 327 bored .030 over, with 10.5 compression, big cam (.468intake, .488 exhaust) and i had built this engine for the 86, but due to cancer transfered it to the 84. The intake is an Edelbroke performer rpm, with a barry grant road demon for the carb. The transmission is a 700r4, the rear end is a 10 bolt posi with 323 rear end gears. My wife (we have been married 4 months now) classifies the car as hers, there for i can spend more than what i probably should on it. is that a harwood hood?

 

No its a hood i had made about 4 years ago by somebody up in hamilton, its a little wavy, but it was about 400 bucks cheaper than the harwood at the time

 

Seriously who is this guy? Ive been thinking when i get a fiberglass hood for my car (for weight saving purposes only) id like to get a custom version of my iroc hood just with real louvers in the spots of the fake plastic ones.

 

the name of the business was perrys custom fiberglass, i am not sure if he is still in business or not.
