G-tech'd the car tonight.
It's a neat little device. And seemed to be idiot proof to set up. It says it's accurate within 1%, but I wonder how true that is?
Anyways, my best was:
2.26 60ft
12.6 @ 114mph
468hp
485ft/lbs
It was a G-tech Pro RR.
I'm skeptical about the results, though they would be nice.
I pulled pretty hard against a 72 BBC 'velle though. He was pretty surprised.
It's kind of the underdog, cause I have little to no traction, and have to play serious catchup in mid 2nd gear.

468 horsepower and a 12.6?
they are pretty accurate, my brother ran a 13.5 with a g-tech, and 13.48 on the track

I have one of the original G-Tech's (last of the first style), I think it's a PITA. Tried it on about 6 different vehicles. Wouldn't stick to any windshield. Tesla (makers of G-Tech) sent me a small box of suction cups, none of them worked any better. Tried the unit at the track one day to compare accuracy, it wasn't. MPH is WAY higher on the G-Tech. Times are also a little off.
Car & Driver magazine tested a number of different units a couple issues ago, with the newer G-Tech's (SS & RR) in there. If I remember, while not being the most accurate of the bunch, they did like the G-Tech's and gave them a good rating.
Where did you get this one Dave?

One of the guys I met up with last night, he mentioned they took it with them to Luskville to compare if it was accurate or not. I mentioned i wanted to get one but they were too expensive. He said that they were really only needed for a one run deal to see how it goes, and asked if I wanted to try it.
So I tried it while running Kevin's velle. I personally think the hp/tq is WAY off. But the velle ran high 12's yesterday, and by the top of thisrd I had a car and a half on him. So the et, could be close I guess, i don't really know. I think a good track day at Luskville, and the G-tech would be a good test to run them at the same time.

G-Techs are pretty accurate. It squeezed out an 11.4 at 127 for me. Not to far off
