Baby is in the garage all covered up and snuggly for winter and I can't stand it! This is the first year with my IROC ( that I waited an extremely long time for I might add)I stored it right after I bought it last year so I did not know what I was missing. I'm really suffering right now as my daily drivers are mundain 4cy econo transportation. I need my V8! Speedvision isn't going to cut it this winter(helped last year). What do you guys do to suppress the urge?

Well... my little 4 banger grand am has some good pep... and its a 5 speed, which can ALMOST be as much fun as the GTA 5.7L V8... But.. I am also in withdrawl, everytime I go to the shop... it looks at me with its puppy-dog eyes, begging me to take it out... but i can't... not only caus eits winter, but I also have the intake all apart, and the fuel injectors are about 3 hours away.

Go buy a playstation2 and play GT3 or GTA3... good games to pass the time.

Hey guys... where abouts are ya Azure? I saw your city, but I do not know where it is. I belong to a club here in the area (Niagara Falls), as well as BillD, he is on this board as well, but I forget his screen name. Maybe we should all have a canadian F-Body get together!!!! I think it would be awesome. There's a weekly car show (in the summer obviously) at the mall here in welland (which is about 15 mins from Niagara Falls).. and we usually get about 10 guys out to that... maybe we can force those rustangs outta there hehe...

Mods to come:

Spohn LCA's
Poly Bushings in the rear.
Port and polish Plenum and runners (IN progress)
New Shocks (Don't know what kind yet)

Oh yeah! For some reason I thought your screen name had your NAME name in it.. =D. As for da Bird, it's a project started....the grey/blue pinstriping is going in favour of straight blue matching the vehicle, and I want to try and have that done, at worst, before the New Year...we'll see, though. And that 2.8.....sigh...something will be done about that, funds permitting.
nblanchard: Me and ZEDDER 1990 both live around...well, let's say the Oshawa area, I'll hope you know where that is? I'm game once I have time to get some work done to my car...this summer is supposed to be when all our 'Birds go roadtripping, so a get together sounds great.

Fortunately I do not live in the snowbelt. We hardly get any snow around here(Maybe because of the NUke Plant?A friend of mine who has a snowmobile has to trailer it an hour north to use it. In the 8 years I've lived her we have had 3 winters were the snow reached a good depth. Most of the time we'll get dumped on and two weeks later it melts leaving 6 inches of icy crusty snow thats not much good for winter activety.
I'm not really complaining though I do enjoy cross country skiing.

Hey with all this mild weather I know I am hurting. I put mine away in mid Oct., expecting a lot of snow that has not happened yet. I just hope that in the next couple of weeks we get a major dumping of snow so that I will know that putting the Z'er away was the right thing.

No kidding! I keep asking myself why the hell I put the car away so early(OCT 31). The weather in Nov was better than October.Apparently this warm weather is supposed to continue for a while.

the ultimate cure to withdrawal is to not put your beast away. My Dad when he owned my car would drive it on nice days keep it clean and after it snowed it stayed in the garage. me i just drive it all the time until next year
