wHERE is GBM? How far from Ottawa?

 

According to Mapquest it's about 650 KMs and about 8.5 hours drive.

 

Oh and Grand Bend is north and a little east of Sarnia.

 

Now, why would you want it way the hell up there, why not more of a central location like somewhere around T.O?

 

It is more like 6 hours from Ottawa... and well worth the drive. We really want to get as many people as possible. I know Acceld Z is from that area... and I think he is planning on coming. Maybe you guys could carpool. Grand Bend was intended to be a central location... You have to consider that we have members from as far as Windsor as well... I think the next gathering after this one will be at a road track in the Toronto area.

 

Sometimes it is worth the drive to a certain place, I have never been to Grand Bend, but I have heard good things, besides always nice to get away from Cayuga all the time, with all those dang Rustangs there

 

It does seem like a pretty long ride but i'm gonna do it anyways. Dave, are you planning on going?

 

I'm not sure yet. I'd like to. We'll see I guess.
