back covers for trunk....

Hey

I was wondering where u can buy the back covers for the hatch back... not the ones that go on the windows.. but the ones that come over everything in the trunk area... like that covers ur system and such. I need one.. where should I go to buy this?
and how much does it cost? and where would I find it?

you need the interior trim pieces too to mount the cover

Are you talking about the optional lockable luggage compartment cover? I have it in the '82 Firebird, but,not in my '87 TA. I have the power hatch on the '87 , so it wouldn't fit.
You would have to look at it to see if it is feasable. You would need the rear trim panel for sure and if you want to be able to lock it, you will need the key, which is the door and trunk key.

I was talking about the roll up cargo cover that covers the trunk not the locking cover

Like I wish I could find some pictures but I cnat seem to find any!!!

I seen them before, its a great idea I think.. Its either that, or I have to tint my windows. And I really dont want to tint becuase its such a pain to see at night time with the 5% tint that I would get for the back window. Its annoying, I had 5% on my sides that are off now, And I couldent see ANYTHING! Now Its so much better!

Well the tint glue was a real pain, took me 2.5 hours to remove the glue from the back window, and abotu an hour for the side windows. A real pain I tell yah!

So I was thinking I would get this cover that hooks up to ur back seats? and u just like unroll it over your system and whatever else you have back there. And than if u want to see, u just unhook it from the support and it rolls its self up.

Heres a pic of my sum-what ok system!

hey dave,

in that picture i dont see the little brackets where the rool up cover goes. i will still sell you mine if you want one that rolls up by itself. take more pics of you rear hatch area. especially in the area of the hood struts.
