Hey there folks!

After talking with a bunch of the locals, it seems like the bulk of the members on here have thier cars in pieces and in the middle of various projects. We are going to hold off on the picnic for now and do one in the spring time, hopefully everyone has thier cars back together by then. See ya in the spring!

 

hey im wondering if thers a national gathering or in my case being canadian international one might say gathering of 3rd gen cars?

 

Yeppirs, we are on for this year! The date will probably be somewhere in August or September from what it looks like, stay tuned.

 

Maybe this year I can bring an actual 3rd gen and not a civic or Impala LOL

Sparrows Point? That's an industrial area in lower Baltimore Harbor off 695 isin't it??? (exit 42 I think) I reckon that'd work, but I think it's just a pier...

 

Nope; there is a whole town down there along with a few state parks.

We have had meets at North Point State Park for about 6 or so years now.

Good to hear you are still holding these meets Eric. It's been quite a few years since i made it to the first third gen nationals in frederick when Mark set it up.

Just wanted to let you guys know. A friend of mine, whom is a "Dancer" , and some of her "co-workers" (they work at ******), are willing to come to the picnic and pose with our cars so we can take pictures. Of coarse we would have to "tip" them, but come on, who doesn't want pictures of there car with a couple of hotties posing with it? Is anybody interested?

On another note, Can we please not have this Aug. 22-23, I will be out of the country that weekend.

Sorry man, but this is a family style event in a state park that I am responsible for.

Tenative target date is September 27th. I got the ok from the park ranger, but still have to clear it by the property mananger which is someone new this year. I have called her no less than three times a day for the past 2 or three weeks strait. One of these days I am going to catch her in the office; if not I will just drive to where she is stationed. Stay tuned!

 

Well, they would be wearing something like cutoffs and tanktops, or bikini's. Basically whatever we want them to wear. They have girls at a lot of shows you can hire to pose with your car. But whatever, it was just an idea.

 

Where is sparrows point? I live in annapolis and would be interested in going. How many people do you expect to attend and would there be cars for sale there. thank you.

Hey guys, looks like it is going to rain all tomorrow and not clearing until Monday.

We are going to have to reschedule for the rain date of SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18TH. All other details will remain the same other than the date.
