Vacuum line with ?check valve?
The batteries for my dig camera are dead so I'll have to explain this.
There are some vacuum lines coming out of the pass side rear plenum by the MAP sensor. The rear line goes to the fpr. The front line goes to what looks like a check valve then t's off to the cruise control and the other goes into a mess of wiring.
My question is this.....Is it a check valve and if so, which line is supposed to let vacuum flow only one way? Seems to me like it's acting as only a "T". No blockages any way.

Since I removed my AC would that then cause a problem? Should I remove that vacuum line going to the ac and plug up the port on the check type valve?

To store enough vacuum to operate the AC/heater doors in the dash. It also stores vacuum for the cruise control servo. If these where hooked up directly, with no resevoir there would not be enough volume to make them work properly.

Ohhhh, you didn't really mean for the AC system. IMO, the engine is a pretty large vaccum resevoir itself. I removed my vac resevoir. My vents are a bit slow to change positions though.

The AC setup in my Cutlass used the vacuum operated doors and everything. The AC delete box in it now just uses cable operated doors, which (I think) is much simpler.

Yes, Camaros without factory AC had a cable operated system, no vacuum harness.
