Low ohm reading on injectors

I have about 4 injectors on my 89 formula that are reading at 5 to 2 ohms. One at 16ohms and the rest at 12-11 ohms. What would cause an injector to lose its ohms? Is the 16 ohm at proper spec?

Im not sure the proper ohm rating for injectors, but I do know that they should all be within 2 ohm's of eachother.
It sounds like its time for some new injectors for you, or have them flowed and balanced if thats convenient for ya!

We run saturated style injectors; I think 15Ohms is about right.

Sometimes the insulationi comes off the windings causing them to short together (one reason to NOT use injector cleaner on our injecotrs).

In any case it's time to replace some or all.

New injectors will read 15 to 16 ohms. An injector below 12.5
ohms should be discarded as bad.
