tpi harnesses

apperantly no one visits the eletronics post. what are the diffreneces between the harness for a firebird and a camaro. oh by the way its a 90 camaro and 90 firebird. what do i have to do to make the firebird harness fit the camaro. thanks for any help

Well it depends on what kind of harness you mean. Like the part for the lights. On firebird they have motors for the lights and only have one light. The camaros dont have motors for the lights and have a seperate light for the the high beams and low beams.

no i have the camaro light harness im talkin about the one taht works the engine. like the injectors.

Nothing. THe battery is on the opposite side, but other than that nothing..

Charcoal canister line's on the other side as well. MAF sensor wires (if equipped) may not reach the MAF location on a Camaro depending on how the Firebird was set up.

no maf... i wouldnt think cus its a speed density harness. wahts the charcol canister for? if i dont need the canister can i illiminate it? is it used for the cruise control and where does thevacumme line for the cc go anyways. thanks

I forgot about that, its also on the other side.. ITs used to vent gases from your exhaust tank.. Its a good idea to leave it connected in a FI system, where pressures dramaticly change..

The idea is the gasses are filtered through the charcoal, rather then creating hc's. A vented tank would work also I imagine.
It is an emmisions component.
