Lookin to Verify symtoms

Couple days ago my pump started whining real loud. Tonight i took her to the shop to get some suspension work done and half way there she totally died on me. the car has a rough idle at start-up (erratic up-down) i'd say about 75 rpms difference. she wont rev much at all unless it at part throttle and less and it takes time to wind up. car also totally spudders under load when i go to let the clutch out. It feels like a fuel pump all the way. what do u guys think?

What kind of pumps are you using? Never buy parts store pumps.
Some things you should never skimp on and beer and fuel pumps
are two of the biggies. Buy an AC Delco pump and problem solved.
Be sure to get a new pulsator with it.

Could the fuel filter be clogged? Maybe the fuel pump is straining to pump thru it.. Just a thought.

That is a real good possibility. If you have never changed it before
try that first. But the pump whining usualy means the pump is on
it's way out.

If you need to go through the major PITA of a fuel pump.... Dont ever put a stock replacement back in.

For nearly the same price you can get an aftermarket pump, with reliability advantages as well as performance advantages. Nothing like solid steady fuel pressure at RPMs passed what TPI could ever dream of.

Aeromotive for the big bucks

Walbro for the more reasonable intake solution.
