Whats a better head than the Trick Flows aside from AFR?

I am looking for mid to low 12's with the LT4 Hot Cam with 1.6RR's and Holley Stealth Ram on a 1989 L98 bottom end and MAF computer. Is there a better bang for the buck head? I want a 190 to 200cc runner and 64cc combustion chambers and aluminum. Just dont post like blah blah is better....give reasons please...... I wanna stay around $1100 out the door ready to run.

Which Trick Flows are you talking about? The G2's or the 23° heads?

Millican do you wish you would have gone with AFR 190's instead of those trick flow heads?

The Edelbrock Performer's look pretty nice. They are only $1050 out of Summit.

I would spend the extra $$$ and go AFR.

First, I am totally satisfied with my TFS 23* heads. My car may not be all that fast right now, but it certainly is not the fault of the heads (uh-hm..... stock base, PROM under construction, etc.).

That being said, I certainly would have been all over a set of AFRs if the money was there when I put my engine together.... So take that FWIW.....

When I was concidering my heads AFR 190's vs. TF 23* I thought the TF's and a cam would yeild more power than just the AFR's by themself's. Cost wise I mean. So thats what I did. The budget dident allow for AFR's and a cam.
