What do you guys think? Im also going to do what swapmaster is doing and turning my stock runners into fully siamized runners, but cutting them and welding plates on the inside and outside with a TIG......
Heres the ASM runners!

My friend has an 86 TPI vette, and were gonna play around with the combos and even fully siamiaze a stock base......... i think this could make a killer combo...... fully siamezed stock base, siamesed stock runners, siamized stock plenum!
Here what swapmaster did:

AFTER.......... (after seeing ) davis's car running high 11's with that manifold all opened up like that, im hypothesising that a good 350 will need all the air it can get (just look at an lt1 intake manifold) swapmaster only did the inside of the runners, but im doing the outside for a FULLY siamesed deal....

I saw Mike run the 11.9. Awesome run. Good deal on that intake too ... I've seen it and he did a great job on porting it. The intake has awesome potential.

Sweet! This siamesed base thing is really taking off now (thanks max). I just picked up a spare OEM base to play with for $30 and spent a few hours siamesing it this afternoon..... I got both driver side runner sets joined down about 4" from where they were and started on the forward passenger pair. I am pondering going further, but I don't think it will make any difference as the head openings are about as "unshrouded" as they will get and there isn't much 'plenum' area to gain from what is left.... I still have to match the head ends to Felpro 1205s, but I should have it installed fairly shortly (maybe by next weekend, not sure)...... Would have been this weekend, but now my fuel pump went the way of the dinosaur
.....
I have some G-tech data from the current setup (stock port-matched base with SLP runners and siamesed and ported plenum) and I will have some comparison data after the swap for ya'll..... Not that my previous times were all that indicitive of what my car would have ran with all of the traction problems, but if I can even out the power and torque curves a bit so wheelspin isn't so bad, that is going to be a huge gain in its self, IMO.
Laterzzzz,
Matt
