what times were you getting with the 86 305 tpi stock times would be good thanks

 

Mine were slow. Low-Mid 10's in 1/8

i think they ran 15 flat at sea level stock from the factory.

 

Actually, they ran more like 16 flat stock from the factory as an Automatic. The 5 speeds were a little quicker... mid to low 15's.

On my peanut cammed 305 auto, with a few bolt-on basic mods: AFPR, headers, a little chip tuning and an MSD I was running 15.3s @ 1250ft which is about 15.1 at sea level.

 

My best time at sea level was 16.2s. That was all stock with a flowmaster. I GOTTA get rid of that cam!!!
