Sure, but you will need to change the eprom (best) or reduce the fuel pressure (worst and you may not be able to lower it enough).

While on that topic, I was wondering if an adjustable fuel pressure regulator is a good idea on a TPI305 with an otherwise stock fuel system? I have heard and read that by bumping up the fuel pressure just a few psi, it will result in a few extra horses. Is it worth it?

If you need more fuel, then yes, it will help. But if you are already runing rich (and most basically stock engines do by GM's design), then bump up the fuel pressure will make "part throttle" seem more responsive because you create a "pump shot" effect which normally wouldn't be there. But at WOT, it can actually slow you down because you are probably too rich.

The benefits of an adjustable fuel pressure regulator for a basically stock engine is "over-rated" in my opinion. All the "test data" are from the people selling AFPRs (surprise surprise). If you listen to the advertising for the "Tornado" you'd think this invention was the greatest thing since "sliced bread".

The BEST SETUP in my opinion is an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator AND burning your own eprom. Then you can set the fuel pressure to around 48 psi and then get the fuel mixture proper. Then you have the best of all possibilities.

it was to my understanding that the 91's and maybe the 90's and 92's already had 22 or 24 lb injector.unlike the earlier years which had the 18lb.I could be wrong but I do remember reading this from a pretty good source

305's had 19 lb/hr's and 350's had 22 or 24 lb/hr depending on year.
