305 for 350 engine swap in my IROC

Like the guy said a few posts ago I know ya'll are tired of TPI swap questions but this is more of an Engine swap question. I have an 86 IROC with the 305 TPI and want to swap in a 79 350 that has been bored .030 over and has a 204/214 cam in it and 883 1.94 1.5 76cc chamber heads. I do believe I need to put bigger injectors on the TPI to feed the 350..but can I use the same ECM or will I need to burn a new chip? Will this work or is it all a pipe dream? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like it will work to me. I belive you will need a different flexplate to hook it up to the tranny. Just burn a chip and the comp. will work fine.

might need a second opinion though. I'm not an expert on engine swaps. Try doing a search and see what you can find.

You'll need a new flywheel.
