Ok you did mention input appreciated. 10hp(out of what I am assuming is a 305) is excessive for just roller rockers and for the $250 or so it will end up costing you seems like your better off gathering a bit more cash and waiting for a set of aluminum L98 heads.

For your application you only have a few options because you need self aligning ones and narrow body rockers.
A. Comp Roller TIP Not Full Rollers .Self Aligning 1418-16 $191.95
B. Crane Gold Race Rockers. Self Aligning ,Narrow Body 10759-16 $299.95
C. Comp Cams also sells the Pro Magnums for SA and Narrow body for about$260.00

I'd bet he could get 10hp from a set of 1.5 rockers. The stock rockers are notorious for flex. One of the magazines just built a 350 test mule (with 461 heads - just like mine!) and they tested a few sets of rockers. They tested the stock rockers, a set of aftermarket 1.5s, and a set of 1.6. They found a pretty sizable gain just from installing the aftermarket 1.5s.

I'll be using the LT4 roller rockers in my 350. I'll let ya know how it goes when it gets running.
www.sdpc2000.com has them for about 270 dollars and they come with the lock nuts also.

Yea the gold ones dont seem different, i need self aligning, but you guys never answered whether its 3/8 or 7/16.
is there an equation to figure out how much more lift i would get??? i got the L98 cam

Camlift X 1.6 = lift
Or if you have valve lift at 1.5 then
lift / 3 X 2 x 1.6
Example:
.500 lift @ 1.5 ratio
Divided by 3 = .16666666666666666
Multiplied by 2 = .3333333333333333
Multiplied by 1.6 = .533 lift @ 1.6:1 rocker arm ratio

Or if you have valve lift at 1.5 then
lift / 3 X 2 x 1.6
Example:
.500 lift @ 1.5 ratio
Divided by 3 = .16666666666666666
Multiplied by 2 = .3333333333333333
Multiplied by 1.6 = .533 lift @ 1.6:1 rocker arm ratio

1. (Gross lift with 1.5 rocker) / 1.5 = cam lift.
2. (cam lift) * 1.6 = Gross lift with 1.6 rocker.

Stock & most aftermarket heads have 3/8" studs, however they can be changed fairly easily, if they are the threaded in type. Stock pressed in type are 3/8".

Which magazine? And how sizable hp gains from the stock to the 1.5's? My theory is that on a 305 that 10hp is way too much to expect, I am sure that changing the lift on the cam can increase hp, and in relation to possibly a better ratio as most stock ratios are ususally under 1.5 as well. I just think for the amount of money being discussed here $300 for the rockers alone that this is the wrong way to go. For around $500 a decent used set of aluminum L98 heads can be had w/ roller tip rockers(aftermarket). And a set of L98 heads will be making more than just 10hp+. I have seen articles describing this setup and it seems ideal way to go for a 305.

Actually the GMPP 1.6 rockers are just brushed aluminum (silver).
