Was there any cuting to the stock hood to make it fit? And if so can you show us a picture of it.

Thanks for the replys so far. I plan on going to the dyno on friday to see whats going on. I still have a small pop through the intake a low rpms under 2500 when I touch the gas just a little. I am not sure if it is timing or what. I will try to post some numbers this weekend.

Same thing on mine. Can't figure out if it too much fuel loading up or lean surge.

boy am I pissed

Well so much for the dyno this weekend. I noticed the car was running like crap today so I took off the valve covers to adjust the valves and wola I find One rocker arm stud pulled out of the head!!!! the other one is loose and spinning around!!! I have one good pushrod and one lost pushrod! I hope it is lying in the lifter valley!!! This is such bullshi!. It is only on number 7. I feel like calling afr and telling to fuc]< off. There is no reason a rocker arm stud should come loose!!!!!!!!

You did torque the rocker arm studs to 55ft-lbs (if I remember correctly?) when you put the heads on Drew?Did you remember to put Teflon sealant on the studs and then torque them?Whats with you and new motors????
